Orientation

Begin here with a simple introduction to SMYHL and how the Circle rhythm works.

Step 1: Watch the Orientation Video

Welcome to SMYHL.

SMYHL stands for Sankirtan Maha Yajna Harinam Lifestyle.

It is a weekly Circle rhythm rooted in the teachings of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu as presented by Srila Prabhupada.

The heart of SMYHL is simple: to help revive God-consciousness through the Holy Name and practical spiritual education in a way that is steady, lived, and supportive. It is meant to help you grow through a simple weekly rhythm that brings spiritual focus, reflection, and practical application into daily life.

What happens in a SMYHL Circle

A SMYHL Circle follows a simple flow:

  • Kirtan

  • 7 Boons of the Holy Name

  • Srimad Bhagavatam

  • Prayers to Bhagavatam

  • AMHYA

  • Kirtan

  • Prasadam

Together, these create a weekly rhythm of hearing, chanting, reflecting, discussing, and integrating.

What to expect

As you continue, the purpose is not just to hear spiritual content, but to begin living it more deeply each week.

SMYHL is meant to support:

  • deeper connection with the Holy Name

  • grounding in Bhagavatam

  • meaningful discussion and reflection

  • practical weekly growth through micro wins

  • community, encouragement, and support
